Short version: I keep a client record because Florida requires one and because good work depends on it. Nobody else sees it. This website itself collects nothing at all.
This website
This site has no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no contact form, and no third-party scripts. Even the fonts are stored here rather than loaded from an outside service. Nothing you do on this page is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
When you click a booking button you leave this site for Square, which has its own privacy practices and its own policy. Clicking my email address or phone number simply opens your own mail app or dialer.
What I keep as your therapist
Florida law requires licensed massage therapists to create and maintain a client care record. Rule 64B7-23.009 specifies what it has to contain, and mine includes:
- Your name and contact details
- Your health history, and what you tell me about your condition
- What I assess, what I treat, and how you respond over time
- Your signed informed consent
I ask for this because I can't work safely or usefully without it — not to build a profile of you.
Where it lives
Intake forms are completed and stored through Square. Session notes are kept as PDF files in a locked folder on a device only I have access to. I don't keep client information in shared folders, on shared computers, or anywhere other people can reach it.
Who sees it
Only me. I don't sell client information, share it, trade it, or hand it to anyone for marketing.
If you'd like me to coordinate with your physician, physical therapist, or another provider, I'm glad to — but only with your written permission, and only the part that's relevant to the question being asked.
The narrow exceptions are the ones the law imposes on everyone: a valid court order, or a situation where someone is in danger.
Text and email
I use text and email for scheduling, questions, and follow-up. Neither is a secure channel — ordinary email and SMS can be read in transit or on a lost device. Please don't send anything through them you'd be uncomfortable having seen by someone other than me. If something is sensitive, we can talk about it in person or on the phone.
Email updates
Occasionally I send practice news — schedule changes, availability, the occasional useful update. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe that I honor immediately, and I never share or sell the list.
Your records are yours
You can ask to see your record, request a copy, or correct something in it. You don't need a reason. Just ask, and I'll get it to you.
How long I keep records
I retain client records for five years, in line with Florida requirements, and then dispose of them securely.
Questions
Ask me directly — kaleigh.lmt@gmail.com or 352-278-1847. If something here is unclear or you'd like something handled differently, I'd rather hear it than have you wonder.
